Every Sunday night throughout the summer, visitors are treated to concerts on the beach at no charge. There are some highly talented musicians, some with national and international followings. Picture this: you’re enjoying the sounds of quality live music with a backdrop of one of the country’s, some say the world’s, most beautiful sunsets.
It almost seems to good to be true! But the plans are to continue the concert series every summer. With acts like Trent Severn, The Walkervilles, The Stegalls, Ivory Hours, Josh Geddis, blues favourites Chuckee Zehr and the Crawdaddies and local crooner Michael Vanhevel there is a musical genre for everyone.
In recent news, Grand Bend Community Foundation has announced there will be a permanent stage that will be built on the beach. No doubt we’ll be hearing more on future entertainment in the months and years to come.
