Grand Bend and area artists, musicians and chefs are ready to show you their best work. We are thrilled to host Red George for the weekend!
Jeffrey George, who goes by Red, is an Ojibway artist from the Kettle and Stoney Point First Nation, situated along the shores of Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada and a member of the Otter Clan.
Red’s work is displayed proudly in many homes and public galleries throughout North America and the world. Red’s recent painting, “Sweat Lodge” received an honourable mention at Paint Ontario 2019.
“My work reflects my culture: its blessings along with its inner pains and suffering. My journey through life has led me to my native culture and traditions, to the place where I am honoured to share my heart and soul through my artistic gift.”
Check out Red’s work here at the Pine Dale Saturday May 4, 10am to 5pm and Sunday May 5, 11am to 5pm.
